Create Data Analyst Agent

Data Analyst Agents are specialized DXAs designed to process and analyze numerical information. They excel at working with spreadsheets and data files, extracting insights that might otherwise require statistical expertise or programming knowledge.

Key Use Cases

  • Analyzing sales performance trends across multiple dimensions

  • Identifying patterns in customer behavior data

  • Generating financial projections based on historical data

  • Creating data visualizations and executive summaries

  • Performing statistical analysis on research datasets

  • Detecting anomalies in operational metrics

Creation Process

To create a data-analyst agent, you need to enter manual creation mode.

  1. Click Create Agent → Create Manually

  2. Enter a descriptive name and detailed description

  3. Select Data Analyst Agent as the role. Click “Create Agent” to start creation.

  4. Next, at the Agent Knowledge panel, assign at least one data file (.csv, .xlsx) as a knowledge source for the agent. This step is critical as the agent requires data to analyze.

Your Data Analyst Agent will enter training mode as it learns to work with your specific datasets. Training time varies based on data complexity and size. Once ready, you can begin interacting with your agent, try asking Analyze the data in the table and give an overview to see how your agent performs.
