WebSearch

The WebSearch feature in the Aitomatic DXA Factory allows users to query the web through the DXA (DANA) system for quick and reliable answers. This guide explains how to use WebSearch effectively to retrieve and summarize web-based information.

What is WebSearch?

WebSearch enables users to:

  • Search the Web: Submit a query, and the system retrieves the top 5 results using a keyword-based search.

  • Generate Summaries: Get a concise report summarizing the content of the retrieved results.

How to Use WebSearch

Step 1: Start a Conversation with DXA

  1. Log in to the Aitomatic DXA Factory platform.

  2. Navigate to the Apply section.

  3. Open a conversation with your DXA (DANA) agent.

  4. Start your query with a natural-language question (e.g., “What are the recent advancements in AI for healthcare?”).

Step 2: Enable a tool "WebSearch"

  1. Type your question or topic in the chat input field.

  2. Click Tools and choose "WebSearch" tool.

  3. Send the query to DXA

  • Search Execution: The system uses the generated keywords to retrieve the top 5 results from the web via the integrated Google Search API.

Step 4: Summarized Results

  1. The system processes the content from the top 5 web search results.

  2. A concise, human-readable summary is presented in the chat.

  3. The summary includes: - Key insights derived from the results. - A list of sources (with clickable URLs for further exploration).
